Volume 15 Number 2 of Language Learning & Technology is now available at http://llt.msu.edu. This issue includes a tribute to Irene Thompson and the debut of the Action Research column.

The winners of the 2009 ILTA Best Paper award are Glenn Fulcher and Fred Davidson for their 2009 paper: Test Architecture, Test Retrofit. Language Testing, 26 (1). The presentation of the award will be made at the Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the 2011 LTRC conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Sage, the Publisher of the Language Testing journal, in conjunction with the International Language Testing Association (ILTA), is sponsoring a triennial award for the best book in the area of language testing/ assessment. The award, which will consist of a certificate and US$600 dollars, will be made at the Language Testing Research Colloquium.
