TestDaF Workshop

The TestDaF Institut will host a number of workshops, with the first taking place on April 17th/18th in Göttingen, Germany. Theme of the first workshop is "Schriftliche und mündliche Leistungen im TestDaF beurteilen" ("Writing and Speaking Proficiency in TestDaF"). Classroom-based Language Assessment SIG

EALTA announced a new SIG with the initiative of our colleague Dr. DIna Tsagari (University of ,Cyprus, Department of English Studies). This Special Interest Group will address issues to promote the notion of CBLA for the wide EALTA community and beyond, covering a range of topics that consider realities and prospects in the assessment world. The SIG CBLA is expected to provide a forum for discussing the above issues via the EALTA list and via symposiums or workshops addressing issues emerging within the group at meetings held in conjunction to the annual EALTA conferences and beyond. 1st EALTA Summer School 2010

The first EALTA Summer School is a fact! The Summer School will focus  on "Good Practice in Language Testing and Assessment: an Educational Perspective". It will take place at the University of York from June 28. to July 2. School tutors will be Gudrun Erickson, Eli Moe, Hildegunn Helness and Sauli Takala. The participation fee will be kept at 250 € and will cover accommodation at University quarters, tuition and materials. The maximum number of participants is 20. More information will be posted soon.
